Re: TVIXIE : a GUI builder for TViX, NMT (Popcorn Hour, etc...) and WD TV HD Player
I will try it out,
do the file names have to be specific i.e. hancock.iso, hancock.mkv or what about if i had Hancock [DTS 1080p 2008 ESIR] can i still import the cover art as long as its in the folder Hancock?
thanks

Hello,
Yes Tvixie is using the folder name
And even if you are not happy with the folder name you can modify it with what you want before launching the search

Re: TVIXIE : a GUI builder for TViX, NMT (Popcorn Hour, etc...) and WD TV HD Player
Each film needs to be in its own folder. There is no way round this because each film has its own background (tvix.jpg) and you obviously can't have multiple copies of one file in the same place.
re the naming of folders:
in order to get TViXiE to work, you should make your search as easy as possible.
Name your folders with the movie name
e.g Hancock
The actual movie file can be called anything you like because its the folder name that TViXiE uses.
Therefore if you had initially extracted your file and folder from a RAR and it is named as you suggested in your example, just clean up your folder name and you'll be good to go.
If you want to try a test, create a few empty folders and give them movie names. Now run TViXiE on those folders and you'll see the program in action.
TViXiE creates 4 files
tvix.jpg (the folder background image)
folder.jpg (an icon for the folder - which you would see if your TViX is in icon mode)
and two internal files for TViXiE (these two files can be deleted if you wish once you are happy with the final outcome)
I hope this helps!

Re: TVIXIE : a GUI builder for TViX, NMT (Popcorn Hour, etc...) and WD TV HD Player
Hi, I forgot to check this section. Sorry
I am trying to get users together to work out a guide for WDTV HERE
Your input would be very welcome!
Which PopcornHour are you talking about? It doesn't work in the same way as with TViX, I'm afraid.
