Default Dune Base 3.0 and parental Control

Hello Forumites.
Does anyone know if Dune Base 3.0 does support Parental Control?

As per many screenshots I've seen that movies can be sorted by PG rating, so rating is supported, but can I avoid my children playing movies rated over 12 years?

Thanks on advance for taking your time in answering my question.

Andy from Switzerland.

Thanks for your reply.
...not even a simple "password protected folder"?
Looks like I have to delete this one from my x-mas wish list...

Would it be an option to place all "children" movies on the internal disc and all other movies on an external USB disk and keep it disconnected while not in use?
What would this cause on the library's behaviour?

No, sorry, it isn't really about that, I just have to avoid that my children can start movies like "Lord of the Rings" or "Wanted", that really aren't suitable for a 6 years old child!

1+

I agree that there must be some kind of Parental Control if HDI wants to hit the consumer market.
There must also be an option to lock the setup pages from unauthorized access.

Any idea if that would work?

It is intresting that HDI's press release states

"Also as before, our GUI is very simple and intuitive and so it is suitable for anybody who can operate a standard DVD player. So our players are "friendly" to children, elders and second halves. You will not need to keep any special player for other family members..."

but in fact it is not so children friendly...
