Why want buy hdi dune?
I bought hdi dune center, but after some month the player was broken
No problem! i hawe two year warranty !

When did you last contact the reseller (MKV players)? According to our current information, it should have the required spare parts right now.

Ok, it took some time understanding what you are saying, please try be as clear as possible.
I understand what happens until you quote "MKV players" about them sending the unit to an RMA location in holland.
Are you supposed to pick it up from that RMA location or what are they saying? Try and quote the whole letter if possible from them so we can see what they are saying.
Have you called "MKV Players" by telephone trying to clear everything up?

Wow... i'm totally blown of by your "constructive skills" but let's try and defuse the situation a little here... First of all, the product or it's warranty should not be attacjed for your experience as it is the reseller here that comes out poor into resolving your case. That has nothing to do so far with HDI or the product itself...
I don't make a lot of your story but are you saying you sent the player to mkvplayers for repair and they forwarded it to someone in Holland or thay have requested you to send it directly to holland?
Whatever happenned... your contract is with mkvplayers. The only thing you need to do is send in the player and expect a solution within "reasonable time". If they can not provide it (they, not someone else), they shoul doffer you with a new product equally or better than your previous one they cannot get repaired or offer you a refund of the sum you paid at the time of purchase...
I would not waste my time dealing with other parties. MKVPlayers needs to resolve the situation for you either way and whatever needs done in the background (getting spare parts, shipping to israel or whatever) is none of your concern. A reasonable time to repair a system is in general accepted to run up to 2 months time... (in case shipping to foreign countries and such is concerned).
Notice, the only costs that can be applied on you as a customer are the costs for you to send back the player to mkvplayers...
Now try next time before posting to remain calm... it will help us a lot noticing your message...

mkvplayer sent him to Holland to HDI and then nothing ....
Been over two months

Sorry Hi Jack but you are ok with DUne no providing?, have you asked what reseller in holland is responsible for those RMs? i bet you now who but its not good news (i bet it a very buy-in resseler of the mpcclub)
Yes the internet vendors are responsible for the client but one thing is providing and something different is resolving the problem as for the company that sells those units are uncapable of keeping RMA status up to date (HDI)
This user is right and sould ask mkv players for a solution (change unit for another product?) but the matter is that DUNE or may i say HDI as a trademark in internet (the fame is from your forum because at the same level on machine its a c-200 with a cheap blu ray player in a nicer box) but the machines are never ready and the date of release is always really late,
If i recall dune 1.0 had a mayor problem for 6 months with playing blu ray titles, dune 2.0.... how many hav being sold?, dune 3.0... for how long has it being delaided?
And HDI as a company NEVER ever admits an error its always somebody elses error
And here comes the treatment of this forum always positive (yes yo critise all you whant but the agreement with your different, mainly divxplayer.nl, BUY-IN buddies ) but products that are of no interest get very ittle attention and other s always get very good or more positive treatment
Those coments are with interest, wich is wrong
Why does Popcorn C-200 not get good reviews? when its the SAME MACHINE?, how come Xtreamer is a very powerfull machine with EXCELENTE reviers worldwide and a price breaker but mede8er has a really good review and a "personal" favorite over xtreamer.... (funny that it has a buy-in)
The pre realse of units is a good idea and i agree with the option... but on top of al this is a information controling situation as an agreement for selling this product by an agreement with AGAIN divxplayer
Sorry any times i agree with you hi-jack but im tired of the false hope for a company (HDI) that in the last 2 years only gives lies and never responsability
I owned a dune HD CENTER, had to put it in the crapper after 6 months for the lack of components (bought it in france) with the same problema as this guy that oppend the post and i have looked for quite some time into this HDI company
NOW i have a c-200 (popcorn) and it still have some software issues but as with a-110 with i also had whatever RMa problem was solved

Finally my player is back but....
slide front was disconnected, the optical input is stuck and you can not remove the protection if not unmount all
The optical drive is detected once, and once not.When should the disc is read properly
The hard drive is not always detected
Every so often appear on the screen flashes and lines ..
This is not a good product, or at least mine is defective.
anyway...

Well 3 month's without the Dune!
I had a defective Philips DVD-HDD-recorder with extended warranty, was defect.
I did in the 2nd week of december a bring-in to my dealer for repair,
shortly after being repaired on december 21, zero costs (only fuel).
Cpu and dvd-rw-drive has been replaced, this all was done in a repair-center in Holland.
This was 4 years ago.
Suggestion:
If the dealer or HDI can get in contact to local (they are almost in every country) repair-centers, things can speed up a bit!
Yes,yes I know different brands, but this is not relevant for the end-user.
@martinowii; After 3 month's of waiting and still not a functional Dune
and invest a €80, this can't be good.
