To bad, they already pulled back this 3.2.0 release. There are some problems with the dutch interface.... They are working on it.

Has anybody already tested the possibility to reassemble existing RAID 5 volumes, QNAP promised me that this will become possible with this final 3.2.0 release. In all earlier releases you have to re-fomat your RAID5 volume after going to factory default settings.... Therefore it was also not possible to move your existing drives with a RAID 5 volume on them to a higher model without losing the data when using the GUI.

Sounds nice.

But i'm wondering if updating the Qnap overwrites the autostart file i created so UNFS client runs on boot.
Don't want to go through all the trouble of setting that up again.

Hopefully, the final version of 3.2.0 (without base problems).

Comparing logfiles 3.2.0 Build1205 vs. 3.2.0 Build1212, only one change, but very important:

The firmware cannot be downgraded from version 3.2.0 to 3.1.2 or earlier. Otherwise the iSCSI target service might NOT work properly.

3.2.0 Build1212

[Applied Model]
TS-239, TS-439, TS-439U, TS-509, TS-639, TS-809, TS-809U, SS-439 and SS-839
