is Kaiboer finally dead?
Hello,
I havent been able to access their site for over a week now. I fear my little K100 is an orphan now, with a rather questionable future...
regards,
Christian

Re: is Kaiboer finally dead?
Hi,
thanks, in the meantime I have reached that site myself. However, I still wonder what happened to the manufacturer site? Has production moved to spain as well (I doubt)? Who does development/firmware updates? Is that site maybe just selling the remaining stock?
thanks,
chris

Re: is Kaiboer finally dead?
today, accessing www.kaiboerhd.com leads to an all-chinese (error?) page. As far as I am concerned, this brand is gone

Re: is Kaiboer finally dead?
Just update the Kaiboer to the Popcorn Hour Firmware and you will have all the new features...

Is that definitely safe and do you mean the A100 or A110 firmware?
I had assumed the Kaiboer firmware had custom features because of the "real" power-off and power-on toggle which the Popcorn does not have. Will we lose this ability?

I'll try that next weekend (I have my Kaiboer in my other apartment) and let you know.

Re: is Kaiboer finally dead?
well, the website is up again. Lets see how we fare with firmware releases. Syabas has just put out a new one for their A110 (not sure whether we have missed out on others in between), so we should expect Kaiboer's adaptation soon. I dont think we can just switch to the A110 firmware - but havent tried either.
regards,
Chris
