Problem playing blu-ray files and blu-ray discs on BD Prime 3.0.
Playing dvd/mkv/m2ts etc files are no problem for my BD Prime 3.0 but when I try to play blu-ray files or a blu-ray disc my tv displays snow. The timer on the display of the player runs normal but I see no movie, only snow. When I press the "stop" button I go back to the players menu.
This was tested with firmware: 091023_1444
I've tested it on two tv's, a samsung hd-ready plasma and a samsung full hd lcd. I also updated the firmware to 091211_1311_beta. Still the same problem.
What could be the problem?

Re: Problem playing blu-ray files and blu-ray discs on BD Prime 3.0.
When I go into the Blu-Ray folders and select a m2ts file I can play the movie:
Home -> USB Storage -> Blu-Ray Movie -> Open (instead of Play) -> BDMV -> STREAM -> m2ts file (largest for the movie) -> ENTER

Any tips? Could this be a region "problem"?

Re: Problem playing blu-ray files and blu-ray discs on BD Prime 3.0.
What exactly "snow" do you see? Can you post some picture?
Seems to be the problem with transferring the data through HDMI to TV. Could be related to the problem with your particular Dune unit (then RMA is needed) or with specifics of your HDMI setup.
- If you can check other HDMI cables, check if it helps.
- If you connect via HDMI receiver, check if direct connection to TV helps.
- If you can check some other TVs with the same Dunit unit, check if it works OK.
- If you can check some other Dune units with the same TV/HDMI cable/HDMI configuration, check if it works OK.

I think this is a Handshkeproblem between Dune and Samsung-TV.
Do you have deaktivate Anynet + ( HDMI-CeC) on your Samsung-TV?

I've got two samsung TVs one LED and one LCD. Both run with Anynet CEC and the Base3.0. The only bad thing is that the TV automaticly switches to the last functional source after starting a BD-iso or a another HD content.
I have to manually switch back to the HDMI source.
