I purchased a K009 in China back in September 2009 and it has be serving up picture perfect movies since, well till today that is. I went to turn it on and get no response at all. The power supply is working (12V) and the remote has new batteries in it. As this unit is powered on by remote only (no power button on main unit), I cannot tell if it's a faulty remote or faulty K009. I would like to get my hands on a remote, beg borrow or purchase it, but the Kaiboer site has minimal support, so I was hoping the support team might check in here and let me know my options.
I am in Melbourne, Australia and may not be returning to China for at least 1 year, so would like some sort of support online and possible changeover of remote to confirm if it is the reason for the units lack of response. If there is a dealer in Melbourne Australia I'd also like to know about it as they may be able to help me with test of remote theory.

Quick update to say the Kaiboer K009 came with a second remote with Chinese so I was able to resurrect it.
Sad thing is this is supposedly the only place to get Kaiboer support and I had no response from them I even sent an email direct to Kaiboer with no response. My advice , don't purchase one of these units!!
