Re: Problems playing DVD-ISO with Dune Prime 3.0
Hi to all,
I know it's not quite the "empty play list" prob. But it fits the topic of this thread.
I don't seem to be able to start playing ISO files. I only get "Error: format is not supported"
The only difference to the play list of other video-files is that the dune lists the contend of the video-folder showing the content including the file-typ but not so with ISO-Types. It shows only the name and no .iso
My dune is connected to a nas(synology). My Firmware is 111122_0159_beta and I'm using the dune bd prime 3.0
Can anyone give me a hint what to do to persuade dune to play my DVD-ISO files? Thanks a lot already!

Re: Problems playing DVD-ISO with Dune Prime 3.0
Hi,
I had the same problem with my brand new Dune HD TV-301W. Approx. 30% of my DVD ISO-files generated this "Empty playlist" error. Other media players (WD, AC Ryan, PoppStar) did play these files without problems. With ISOBuster (PC freeware) I found out, that in this pseudo-empty ISO files some file system volume descriptors (ISO9660, UDF, Joliet…) were empty.
However, to get rid of it, I have unpacked all my ISO files into its VIDEO-TS folders. Since I have no “empty” ISO files anymore and I can’t remember the real reason, so please compare your ISO files (“empty” / ok) with ISOBuster and you will see differences in the contents of the “file system volume descriptors” (left side). Anyway, this is a bug in the Dune software and this will be hopefully fixed soon. Until then, I will store the DVD file structure on my NAS.

Thanks for taking an interest . I'm using CDBurnerXP to make ISO-Files. I have no problems accessing them with my virtual clonedrive. Just my Dune gives me the "Error: format is not supported" response when I try to run them.

Re: Problems playing DVD-ISO with Dune Prime 3.0
Hi,
I use imgburn and have no problems with my Prime 3. The only problem I have is with certain BDJ isos but that is a different problem.

Re: Problems playing DVD-ISO with Dune Prime 3.0
Hi!
I use AnyDVD and DVDFab to create ISO for DVD and BD, no problem at all. Stored at my Qnap, and accessed through NFS. Got approximately 500 ISOs, and they all play fine. I always unpack and repack ISOs with one of the program mentioned, if I download any ISO.
