That is very strange as this problem should be priority one. Without IMDB scraping, you have to add everything manually. That is an absolute chore. No one is going to want to do this, especially if they have a ton of stuff that needs to be added. I only had to add 4 movies, the other day, and it took me about a half an hour to do it. I won't be adding anything else until this issue is fixed. Looks like I'm going to have a big backlog piling up before this issue is fixed. The frustrating part is it's probably a simple fix.

Also strange is that HDLand hasn't given any reaction around this matter on their own sites. Normally they do act quick with answers and/or fixes.

I suggest that many more people from here should post at their forum and at their bugs and wishes site to get more attention.

Hi all,

I am very raw to this Zappiti as I only get to know it 1 day ago.

Accept my apology if this question has been asked before.

I am using ex. HDD to connect my Dune and has just installed the latest Zappiti software onto my pc. After exporting to Dune, the player is able to detect & displays movie cover art and background but when I hit enter, it reads "Error Getting File Info" & "No such file directory". The movie itself just fails to play.

Can anybody enlighten me on my file path as below (ain't using network, just an ex.HDD where movies are stored) :-

Share path: F:\HD Movies\Zappiti

Folder path: F:\HD Movies
Absolute path: F:/HD Movies

Is anything wrong? Would be really appreciate if someone could help me to solve this. Another problem is it seems my Zappiti is not able to download the Synopsis.

Thanks a million.

it looks like its your storage path but,
try this F:\ZAPPITI
OR EXPORT TO ANOTHER HDD/USB EG:USB:\ZAPPITI
OR WHEN YOU RIP YOUR MOVIES,REATTACH THE HDD TO DUNE THEN RESCAN VIA YOUR PC SO INSTED OF F:\HDMOVIES IT WILL BE DUNE:\HDD\HDMOVIES (ALSO MAKE SURE YOUR HDD AND FILES ARE SHARED)
ABSOLUTE PATH SHOULD BE
STORAGE-NAME://F/HDMOVIES (try this first)
SEE EG: BELOW

AS YOU CAN SEE FROM MY EXAMPLE THAT THE HDDS ARE ATTACHED TO THE DUNE,I FIRSTLY ATTACH TO THE PC FOR RIPPING THEN TO THE DUNE FOR SCRAPING (IMDB DOWN AT THE MIN ZAPPITI BUG) THE PC GIVES YOU A DRIVE LETTER, THE DUNE YOUR HDD CODE (DUNE\ELEMENTS_4546RTBC ETC\MOVIES) USING MY LAPTOP WHERE I HAVE ZAPPITI STORED I SCRAPE THE HDDS,I THEN ATTACH A HDD (H) TO MY LAPTOP AND EXPORT (H/ZAPPITI) I THEN ATTACH THIS TO DUNE.

Hi peterbus,

Thanks for your reply, but I still get the message "Error opening URL" & file can't play

I have followed this settings:

Sharing path: F:\Zappiti

Folder path: F:\
Absolute path: storage_name://F:/

I am in total lost now!

Absolute path: storage_name://F:/ is not correct.

Go to Home Screen an type "Info" on the disk (F).
You receive a number like 0578acb...

This number must be taken and not F:
