Actually, you can rely on the IMDB name for your movies (in english) and on the TheTVDB Name for TVshow. When you scrap, you should type the exact Title of your movie instead of the default filename proposed.

Zappiti create a Zappiti folder into your share path (check your configuration to set it). Then, it create dune_folder.txt into this Zappiti folder when you click on "Export to dune"

ok imdb gives me no Hits for my Dokus (German named)
i hope that Zap becomes ofdb.de in future release

ok after the first Tests i am Happy

But where i can hide the Folders with my Movies and Shows ?

in the Root is an Folder Names "Movie" and TV Show"

with an _Movie its not hide and with an -Movie twice

a Point before i dont can make ".Movie"
my Apple OS says that this Point only for the System reserved

in a future Release is there that i can disable Genre Search or ABC Search ?

Yes, for the 2.0, you'll can disable some sections like ABC and add some more.
We'll also made some more skins. You'll can also change the background image by personal one.

We don't use ".folder" because some NAS don't like it.

WOW this program is amazing. It's really quick as promissed. It does not find everything even after renaming, but the score is high enough for me.

I managed to index my complete collection which I have online seperated over 25 hdd's in 1 hour. I used one NFS folder on my W7 pc at the root of one hdd (with junction points for all my hdd shares in it), then I shared on the main menu in my Dunes the newly build 'Zappiti' folder by the Zappiti program at the root in this NFS folder.

Result:
One big Zappiti moviejukebox containing all the movies I have online, only one share on the main menu of the Dunes and the index is pointing to the right pad's. Every .ts/.m2ts/bdmv/bd iso I tried are playing correctly so far.

Many kuddo's for the makers.
I'm going to try now the tv series scraping.

Edit: Series isn't working for me, must every episode has it own folder?
I have them as a season folder now with all the episode files seperate in them.

i have on my HDD 2 Sections with Named

Movies
TV Series

This Folder i have added in Zap
Movies to Add Movie Folder in Zap
TV Series add as TV Series in Zap

In my TV Series Folder i have 1 Folder for every Series

/TV Series/SeriesA
/TV Series/SeriesB
and so on
and in Every Series Folder there are no Subfolders .There are all my Episodes like SeriesS01E01.xxx SeriesS01E02 ...

this works perfect

my Problem is that the Dune shows me the other Folder see Picture
Where i can hide this Folder i dont will see ?
