Question Folder organiser utility

Hi all,

been using my Mede8er for a couple of months now and very, very happy .

I could, however, use some help finding a utility that can batch create folders for my 400+ movies. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

There is a good script posted in TViXiE's forums that will quickly create folders based on the movie's filename and then move the file into the newly created folder. I have used it and it works great.

I use Guy Kuo's Movie GUI Builder on both MAC and PC.
A lot of nice features, easy to use, etc.
Indispensable for me!

Check under the Utility Tab for folder creation.

I know this is an old thread, but I was pointed to a .bat file that very quickly shoves file's into folder's, you can get it here:

http://www.hack7mc.com/2009/03/auto-...o-folders.html

All you do is shove it in a folder full of however many avi's/iso's etc.... you have, double click it and it will create, name (based on file name) and place the file's in the folders in a matter of seconds.

It has been invaluable for me with endless rips of my tv dvd's after using theRenamer:
http://www.therenamer.com/
to rename the episode's before hand.

These two save so much time and hassle and create the folder's just nice for working in programs such as thumbgen:
http://thumbgen.org/

Though I'm sure you lot already know about those little gem's, but some new comer's may find it helpful having them all in one place
