Hello,

I read the whole Thread but I am a little confused!

For me http://epg.kml.kiss-technology.com/ is totally down (since today). So my KISS DP-558 does no more Web-Access (EPG, Games, etc.)

I have the original firmware 1.1.7.

Can someone give a short tutorial or summarize how to get tinystocks (or something similar) to run with a original firmware 1.1.7?

Same here, no more EPG.

I tried TinyStocks for a month ago, when the TVTV guide had no data. The TS-EPG worked perfectly. So today I renewed my subscription at TinyStocks.

But I can't get it running, the KISS keeps telling me he has no connection.
The TS EPG only works when I start TShelper on my computer and connect with PC link. It is no option te start up the computer to enter the EPG.

I managed to set the TS EPG as default. But when I push the "Title" button on my remote, the tv-screen freezes and a few seconds later I stil get the message that there is no connection.

I have a dp558 with original firmware 1.1.7 (does it work with Stage2 firmware?)

Same again, no EPG.
How to use TinyStocks is explained at the TinyStocks website, but I can't get at KiSS portal anymore with my KiSS player.
And the TinyStocks login webpage gives always the error of wrong login.
I have the feeling I need the KiSS portal for all my settings before I can use TinyStocks.
I.e. I'm lost because the whole KiSS EPG website is down for ever and ever.

My questions:
a. how to use TinyStocks as EPG for KiSS DP558 players after all?
b. isn't there a trial period? It's not mentioned at the TinyStocks KiSS page
c. what to buy at TinyStocks, it's not mentioned at the Buy page or elsewhere?

Looks like the KiSS DNS is down like a few months ago. I have notified them, let's see if they can fix it.

Tinystocks is working on my DP-558

download the TS helper

and run it from your pc and use pc-link in your KISS.

I have ask the zorgclub to reset my trail for my VR-558. Since i have used it once in 2008.
Currently it is not working. I first want to make sure it works, before i get another subscription for my kiss VR 558

Hi,

I found an old DP-558 firmware v1.1.7 that points default to TinyStocks. Some guys from www.kiss-technology.cz made that.

Hopefully somebody can make the latest firmware point default to TinyStocks!

Today I found out that the url http://epg.kml.kiss-technology.com/ is not valid anymore, that means that recordings sent from Tinystocks are not deliveret to my KISS...

Is this the end of EPG ?

Does this mean that even when you switch to TinyStocks you will still depend on the availability of epg.kml.kiss-technology.com?

Because, TS is sending the records to kiss, sure.

I don't know, if it is possible to redirect the player directly to TS... and is TS holding the data... but AFAIK the url that KISS-Players are using is hardcoded.

I'm hoping for a solution,. because i think, the EPG-Servers from KISS are totally gone.
