Freecom wlan350 upgrade
I use Freecom Wlan 350 to play my media files through my AV system and relatively without too many problems. I communicate with the player using its NAS capabilities. However, time has come to upgrade and whilst Freecom do have a new player I am not too happy with its specifications. I am therefore looking for a different make. I did review all the players recommended by this club but I am unclear on one particular point and look for some guidance.
I run my media player as a central unit with all files stored either on the internal HD or HD attached via USB connection. Current player's (Freecom) NAS is not, however, able to see anything attached to the USB interface. Can somebody, indicate which one of the recommended machines is able to stream data not only from the internal HD but also from the USB devices. The player is and will be networked via WiFi only.
