HDI đã tung ra firmware mới bổ sung thêm khá nhiều tính năng, tốc độ đọc phim và stop cũng được cải thiện rõ rệt, đặc biệt là đã hỗ trợ chạy file APE, hỗ trợ thêm 1 số định dạng phụ đề, và thêm web browser.

The next beta firmware version is expected soon and will most probably include, in particular, the following new features and improvements:
NTFS write support (for 3.0 models).
Migration to the latest 864x Sigma BD SDK resolving Blu-ray discs compatibility problems.
Ability to vertically shift subtitles also during playback of Blu-ray discs/images.
Colorspace settings.
