Hi all,

i've been reading through this forum quite a lot already over the last few months. When I first installed Windows 7 I followed the sharing guidelines I found via this forum (http://www.networkedmediatank.com/wi...x.php/Windows7).

A while ago I had the Windows Live signin assistant issue which I resolved by removing windows live.

So I was a happy camper with my Dune base 3.0 and Windows 7 ultimate, no issues, could find my shared folders all the time so life was good... Until last week...

All of the sudden my dune doesn't find the folders anymore (via SMB which i always use). I've tried making a dedicated folder on my Dune as suggested on many forums but when i do that it just hangs trying to connect.

I installed windows share manager to check if my sharing is OK, which it is..

So I am puzzled. Did something change in Windows 7 that no prohibits SMB sharing? Or did I install something that messes up my sharing or homegroup (nothing that I am aware of at least).

any thoughts?
