Default Setting up TV Shows

Can someone help with settings up my TV SHOWS

My configuration path looks as pictures show

The Movie Folder And TV Show folder resides on the same drive on my drobo share and my movies play without any problems

x:\Film\Movies

x:\Film\TV Shows

x:\Film\Zappiti

x:\Film\_Zappiti

I have tried to have both places on x: for the zappiti rewrite and the TV Shows are scrabed correctly but will not play.

After a rescan i get the following message

Does anyone have a clue

All I can think of is to put all the episodes in one folder "THE PACIFIC" and name the episodes: S01Exx.AVI or .MKV or whatever.

It's important to include the season number and episode number in the filename.

I hope it works, else the problem is a bit more complicated

The only clue I can glean is that episode 2 is not on the error list. So, does this episode play OK. If so, is there a difference between this and the other episodes?

Otherwise, what format are the files in? It looks as if the errors are related to sub folders of seasonxxxepisodeyyy. There shouldn't realy be anything below this folder level I wouldn't have thought.

I found the problem, the episodes must not be in a bd folder structure. I converted the episodes to ISO and that solved the problem.

I think I am having a similar issue:

http://www.mpcclub.com/forum/showthr...d=1#post215308

I tried making a BD folder set into an iso but it still didn't work for me. I get the cover art in the TV Series folder, but there are no episodes inside the folder when I go in.

I haven't played with other things that much in file structure, but I rip my BDs as ISO files and all my TV ISOs are named as follows:

Angel S01E01 - Episodes 1-4.iso
Angel S01E05 - Episodes 5-7.iso

I drop those ISOs into a folder called 'Angel' under my 'TV' folder.

Then Zappiti scans them fine, finds cover art (usually) and plays back fine. I've not ripped TV shows from BDs yet so I may have to give that a try. I think I have Smallville and Big Bang Theory on BD and will give that a try.

The file naming (actual file, not folder!) is very important to Zappiti.

I think it's a TVDB issue really. I don't know if you've ever been over to their forums, but the mods there run it as if they're Agatha Trunchbull from Matilda, without the comic timing... It's worth going there just to see how not to run a forum. Serious anger management problems...
