Default Re: yaDIS 2.0 - yet another Dune Indexer and Skinner

Hi,

My settings are:

xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is IP address of my QNAP NAS.
M: is samba share for xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\Multimedia on my computer with the yaDIS2
The Dune player network settings are: NFS, xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, \share\Multimedia

Dune interface location: M:\Index

folder #1:
M:\Movie
Dune path: nfs://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/share/Multimedia/Movie <- it works

folder #2:
M:\TV Series
Dune path: nfs://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/share/Multimedia/TV Series <- it works

I tried also this relative path
Dune path: ../../../../../Movie <- it works too but for the "Recently added" and "All movies" indexes only, For other indexes must be added one "../" manually

Movie folder 2: \PC\SHARE\Videos\Other (dune path: smb://x.x.x.x/SHARE/Videos/Other)

As you can see the starting point for each of the references is the same share, although the movies and Dune interface are located in different folders.

Hope this helps. Merry Xmas.

Yes, this works fine but then I face the problem that I cannot put the Index directly on the Home Screen of the Dune, as I can only link a share on the Home Menu but no a subfolder of a share.

Now I have to open a Folder in the Home Menu of the Dune and have to open the yaDIS Folder to get the Yadis Menu. Not a lot of work but not the best.

It would be much better if I could place the index directly on the Home Menu of the DUNE, but I think this is a limitation of the Dune firmware that you cannot link to a subfolder of share.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

I've uploaded a new version: yaDIS 2.0.2

Changes:
- Better movie titles detection
- Media deletion method changed. It is now possible to perform certain tasks during the cleaning of the Dune interface.
- From now, when the selected Dune interface location is not empty, a sub-folder "_yaDIS" is automatically added to avoid any loss of data. Consequently, the previous warning messages were removed.

I cannot edit my previous messages. so, I cannot update the first posts of this thread.
I seems that I loose the ability to edit my posts after a certain period of time...
Can an administrator fix this problem ? Thanks.

Thanks for the update Fred.

Anything you can say about migrating the 1.x data to 2.x?

Thank you for this great App and Happy Chrismas to all.

I have tested v2.0.2 - make changes in Synopisis is not possible for German people -(

if you know what Im saying.

Other than that, the Yadis is really advanced so far. You eliminated the competitors.
I tried a movie file named "Resident.Evil.Extinction.2007.1080p" and it worked well.
