Hi Kjack:
So you're saying that XBMC is supported on current Sigma Designs Chipset like the 8655AD (Nixeus Fusion HD) and 8643 (Popcorn Hour A-200)?

Also I read on the press release that the new Sigma chipsets will run Android 3.0?

Please confirm - Thank-you!

XBMC solution will be included in our SDKs as our standard UI for media playback feature. Customers can still do their UI design using other technologies if they wish.

While I don't know why they wouldn't, I believe we only mentioned about now offering 2.2 to our customers.

How come then companies like HDI Dune and others don't use the potential of visually pleasing XBMC on their players? does it put quite a high strain on the system resources?

Sorry for a little offtopic. Does your company plans to fix fault described here?

Strange..I don't have the Dune MAX, but haven't seen this in any other product. We have a Dune MAX here at CES in our suite, hopefully I can check it out or take it to the office after the show. If it was a SDK issue, then multiple products would have the problem.

I do recall seeing some comments that we output a slightly higher than spec black level when we fixed the HD vs. SD colorimetry for file playback, but this looks like the opposite, and by a very large amount.

Just to be sure that you understood my posts correctly (Sorry for my English). In the photos:
- on the left side was correct image;
- on the right side was incorrect image.

During watch of one movie in mkv format, in one epizode, I saw only face and everything else was in black (no details, shadows)

Well the 3d feature is of course very interesting and maybe the scaler....but right now I have a Dune Base 3.0 and all the HD 24p movies work flawlessly fine and teh DVDs look good too?!

So there's no huge need to upgrade but still I am ready Also for a faster CPU....
