So that's it for the 550, any mediaplayer with Cinavia -> no way, José.

Although there might be two firmwares for us, i'm not 100% on this but it could be.

In the article it says..

"I also gave them a solution which would continue to keep all users happy while also implementing Cinavia. It is going to be personally interesting for me to see whether they are going to act upon that idea further. I do not believe in miracles, so actually we have to face that there will be one firmware without or with Cinavia. Facing the fact that Netgear is U.S. based the latter is by far more likely.

And there goes another promising mediaplayer...

Netgear will buckle and put Cinavia in the firmware, most if not all of the main providers will.
