Re: DuneX - Mac Software for Dune
Hi all,
to get a perfect scraping for TV Series, just enter the parameter (thetvdbid=xxxxx) in the folder name of the TV series.
For example, name the folder for the series Dexter as follows:
Dexter (thetvdbid=79349)
-> Season 1
-----> xxx S01E01 xxxx.avi
where 79349 is the ID number of Dexter series on "www.TheTVDB.com" using for scraping.
ciao

Wouldn't it be awesome if there were some other ID numbers that could be parsed? I was thinking of IMDBID and maybe UPN.
Also, Nico has been MIA for 2 months over here, and a month over on the French forum. I'm worried that we are going to be left in the dirt. Hope he is well.

Would be great.
I hope that Niko's okay, that's the most important thing.

Hi,
What version are you using? Where is your library stored e.g. NAS, Dune D1 etc?
If an external drive, have you connected to the server first using 'smb'?

Re: DuneX - Mac Software for Dune
Hi All,
Just got a new 27" iMac i7 and DuneX is not working properly in that it won't load the library. Could this be because the new iMac is 64bit?
Using the 0.9.0 34 beta.

Re: DuneX - Mac Software for Dune
Hi All,
I am just starting to get underway with building out by DVD/BR collection for a new Dune player.... this is the first time I've been looking at scrapers/jukeboxes and am muddling my way through.
I am testing out DuneX (I am a mac user) but also MyMovies, zappiti, Yadis 2
They all do a relatively good job of indexing my movie collection where the structure is:
nas/movies/movie title (year)/video_ts/...
Where i am coming unstuck is the TV series. Most of my TV series discs comes with more than one episode per disk. So for example I currently have
nas/tv/show/series/video_ts/.....
e.g.
nas/tv/frasier/frasier S01 E01 E05/video_ts/...
Interestingly zappiti handled this pretty well finding the seasons perfectly however I'm having other issues with it.
Does anyone know how I should be naming the folder structure to get dunex to recognise the files correctly?
Even if I rip 1 episode per directory I would end up with multiple *.VOB files under the video_ts directory
cheers
GS
