Thumbs down Help me choose

I have huge collection of Anime (smi subtitle), DVD, and HD720p movies in my HDD. I need to easily swap my 3.5" HDDs so no screws. I also would love to have covert art on my movies and be able to sort them by genre.

What player will you guys recommend and where can I buy, I'm in Japan.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Can you not use something like this:

If you have something like the Sharkoon (others are available and you could have a single dock version if your player doesn't like two devices off one USB port) then you could slot your HDDs into the dock and just run it without any screws, it would be reasonably portable and you could use it connected to your computer if your existing player doesn't have a LAN connection.

I want the HDD to be easily inserted on the player itself to avoid mulitple power connections and easy maintenance.

Consider a nas, its the way forward for sharing multiple hdd's. It can be placed out of sight, and with raid 5 you get redundancy. I personally would recommend Synology.

Not quite sure why you want covert art though, are you a spy or something?
