Default DVB-T: Missing audio on some channels?

Hi,

I just bought the DVB-T stick for the HDI Prime 3.0. I am able to get video on all channels. However, i have no audio on the h264 channels ( the MPEG-2 channels are fine). Is the Prime 3.0 missing support for some critical audio-codec? (and if so, is support planned for future firmware versions?)

Im in Denmark btw. As an example i am missing audio on DR HD.

Hi,

I'm from DK to....and I have sound on all channels (12 in all - also DR HD).

The "only" problem I have is missing subtitles on some channels.....but thats a known issue.

It sounds like they (Dune) will "upgrade" the DVB-T functions in the next FW, so I hope the sub-problem will be fixed .

Thank you for the answer, its nice to know its supposed to work. What firmware are you using? ( i have tried the latest stable as well as the latest beta).

Are you also outputting audio via HDMI?

Hi,

Yes, im using the new beta, but it also worked on the previos stable version (I have had my DVB-T for some time now).

Im using HDMI and have also tried composite.

Im not using any receiver between the Dune and the TV and the FW is standard-setup.

Im receiving DR HD, DR K, DR Ramasjang, DR Synstolking, DR Update, DR1, DR2, Folketinget, Hovedstaden, OAD Mux1, OAD Mux2 and TV 2.....all with sound.

I have a Dune Max and a Dune Prime 3.0 and I just realised that I can record channels (by pressing "Play") on my Prime but not on my Max !!!!....I have to look into this

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you

PS. You can try to record from a channel wothout sound and play the sample on a PC to see if the sound is recorded.

I figured out what the problem was. I have the dune set up to bitstream the audio. Additionally the Prime is connected to a different receiver than the one i normally use.

If i set the audio to PCM (decode), then i get audio just fine.

Nice to know that recording is possible, but how about timeshifting? (i dont have any storage connected right now (my movies are on a server), but i would probably add some if i could timeshift).
