Re: Xtreamer Prodigy in October, unReal!!!
Release date is 15th Oct 2011. New shipping date is as of national holiday in Asia
What a cruck of (insert word here)
So we are meant to trust a 'professional' company who have been working so hard for 4 years in the market and have just suddenly found out that there is a holiday! for 10 days!! yeah right. What utter rubbish.
There is no manual, no 'proper' firmware (just some bug riddled FW 3.0x) and a guarantee that a good number of the promises, marketing, features made will NEVER appear.

Re: Xtreamer Prodigy in October, unReal!!!
I'm glad Realtek have put them "out of the loop". Realtek have an obligation to other companies that every chip will have "value" for at least 6 months. If you where Ryan, or Sanji, you would be seeing potential sales of players using the current chips lost to vaporware using the next generation of chip.

Re: Xtreamer Prodigy in October, unReal!!!
OK, so the 15th has come and gone, no update on the shipping from XTreamer. No news, no update to their customers they have effectively stolen money from.
A HUGE warning to anyone, if you want a next get, current gen or past gen media player, LOOK ELSEWHERE
Dont trust their website, their people or promises.

I think the sentiment would be a lot different if they weren't taking people's money for pre-orders... new products get delayed all the time for a varity of reasons... but nope, they do it with every new product announcement - offering pre-order promotions w/free gift so they can use customers' money to fund their initial MOQ requirements with factory...

Re: Xtreamer Prodigy in October, unReal!!!
They are the most backward and awful company I have ever come across.
If you try to complain on their message board you post is deleted and you get banned.
I would not pee on them if they were on fire.

Re: Xtreamer Prodigy in October, unReal!!!
I'm not sure if they have shipped any units by now, official pre-order site claims early November for shipping... The wait is over it seems...
