Hi,

Using the DHCP option of the DP 558, I see sometimes that the IP is lost.
The fastest way to resolve the IP by DHCP is to turn it off and on again. (The DHCP option, not the DP 558 )
I also see that the IP of the PC-link server is lost at the same time.

Also the IP of the PC-link server is lost after switching off and on again.

So there are two questions:

1) Losing DCHP-IP is this 'normal' on the DP 558?
2) Is the IP of the PC-link not stored (link the IP when NOT using DCHP ?)

There should not be issues with IP addresses...
You need to check your local setup for that and not find the reason on DP-558 or PC-Link

In most cases, when DP-58 or PC-Link renegotiate the lease for a IP, most likely it does
not get an answer after which it does not get new data or new lease...

Well, something like that
In all DHCP software/Hardware you can enter fixed leases P Adresses so tht the player
and PC Link still have DHCP, but the address is fixed on the DHCP server...
