Default Blu-ray Lite playback

I have a question Blu-ray Lite playback.
What is that exact ?

I have some 3D-Iso's that don't playback. I get a screen on the TV, that my Hardware don't support 3D-Playback (of course - because Dune & TV don't support 3D) and I only can exit the movie.

But of course, on the disk is the 2D-Version of the movie.
Can I use this Funktion to say the player witch m2ts File is to play from that Iso - without use the menues ?

thx, Kaba

If your media player doesn’t have Java, it only supports Simple BD or BD lite. BD lite is NOT the same as full BD playback. Full BD playback means the media player will perform as if a disc is put in a standalone bluray player with menus from the manufacturer of the disc not from the manufacturer of the player which is limited to changing audio/subtitles/chapters. BD-Live will also NOT work.

Hi,
the creator of a 3D-BR can decide if it will be playable in a 2D player. It does not matter if there are 2D and 3D on the disc. I am not sure (I doubt) if 2D is a complete separate file.

I could not play h 3D Thor disc because of the hardware check.
