Default Best Media Player for BD.ISO playback

Does anyone OWN a media player that plays BD.ISO files (ripped using AnyDVD HD) and does so:
(a) with full BD Navigation (original BD menus)
(b) without video or audio stuttering
(c) with smooth and accurate video during rewind/fast forward
(d) for all BD titles

Yes - my HDI Dune Prime 3.0 does all you want, but is now a discontinued model. However all the Dune models should also work although the TV101 & Lite 53D don't have a full BD license so wont display the disc menu.
I borrowed a TV101 to do a review for another forum and that played all the BD ISO's I have created from AnyDVD HD fine. Dune then released a firmware update that caused audio dropouts and stuttering of video with DTS-HD MA audio, but have since released another update that seems to have fixed this.

Other than the players from Dune, AFAIK the only other current media player with a full BD license is the Popcorn Hour C-300.

Dune 101 is only reading ISO in BD Lite (no menus) isn't it ?

All Dune smart + Duo + Max are reading BD ISO as if it was a real disc (menus, bonus,...)

I've seen it mentioned a few times that Netgear have said the NeoTV550 is now end of life so wont get any more firmware updates - for BD replay of new discs/rips regular updates are a must or many of them will not be able to be played due to the authoring constantly being changed

I speak of my experience with the NeoTV ... I currently own approximately 500 ISO 1:1 Bluray and I have no problem. Many of these are in java in profile 2.0 (BD Live) and all work perfectly.
Surely the NeoTV has some bugs that should be fixed, but if there's one thing that works well is the BD ISO playback.

Basically this is the topic of this thread.

Hi Greywall

I would like to ask if you don't have any problems with huge BD ISO files 1:1 when you select to play the DTS Master Audio or HD Audio soundtrack?

My Oppo BDP93 play this ISO's with no flaws but my Popcornhour C300 often starts to stutter and crashes the sound. This also happens then played from a USB disk so it's not network problems.

In Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol (wich is a huge 48 Gb ISO with DTS Master Audio sound track) there is a scene 60% into the movie there a car chase takes plase in a sandstorm. Can you play this scene without problems?

I heard from owners of other mediaplayers that huge ISO file structures often crashes the sound in action scenes caused by the high datarate if you select the DTS Master Audio sound track. (no problem with AC3)

No problem to play BD ISO and BD Folder 1:1 with any HD Audio track.

My configuration is made for streaming, but sometimes i use external usb hdd 3,5" and the result is perfect.

Thomas I dont know what to tell you, but my NeoTV works really well.
I am disappointed that the Netgear decided to send this player to EOL, because with some minor update would be the perfect player.

And finally ... did you see at what price he is sold now? 80-90 euros .... a real deal.

Hmmm it seems to end up with that it is the PCH C300 that is the problem. I'm glad to hear that some companies got it right with BD ISO's Just hope Syabas will release a new firmware that fix the problem.

The only (affordable) player that plays back all kinds of BD ISO's, even 3D with full menus is the ASUS-BDS 700.
