Ok, I bit the bullet and thought I would give the Zappiti iPad app a try since MyMovies wasnt working well with me. So I install it, start updating my movies and tv shows in Zappiti where I left off when I switched to YaDIS and everything worked great the first time I hooked up the iPad to iTunes and added the file and synced.
Now every time I update Zappiti, and export, add the file back to iTunes and sync.....NOTHING changes on the iPad!!! I have tried numerous times and I'm at a loss here. This should be simple right??

Does anyone have a solution???

Make sure you end the zappiti process on the ipad before adding the zappiti file in iTunes.

To end the process double tab the home button, all the apps you have open will appear along the bottom, find zappiti and hold your finger on it for about 3 seconds, it will start to wiggle and a - will appear in the top left. Hit this -

Add the Zappiti file into iTunes and sync up. Open Zappiti app once export has finished. Click yes and your library should be updated.

I don't know if this is necessary but if I use Itunes, I go to App first (in the top bar) and then drop down to the Zappiti app at the bottom of the screen and add again the updated Zappiti file.
Then sync.

This is exactly what I have been doing. It worked the 1st and 2nd time, but all times after that, the iPad is not being updated. This shouldnt be some convoluted process so I have no idea why this is happening.

Each and everytime you update zappiti and export to iTunes you will have to re-add the file as iTunes is not capable of detecting the file change.

Jsc did you try my suggestion of killing the zappiti process on the ipad before export?

About to try it now. So do I have I have zappiti open on the ipad while Im adding the file to itunes? When exactly do I kill zappiti on the ipad? right before I hit sync in itunes or what?

EDIT: OK just opened another app while the zappiti app was running, double clicked the button and killed zappiti. Went back to zappiti and the updates that I did last night are finally there. THAT is crazy! This has to be bug because it should not be this difficult!

Another thing I'm experiencing is I have a external hard drive connected via USB to my Dune HD Duo. When I go to Zappiti to add it, it does not show as being networked?? But of course it shows up when I map the drive to My Computer. Then I can add the TV Show folder, but only 3 folders show up out of about 20....what's going on here? Why is Dune not showing up as "network"?

No it's not a bug it's just that zappiti loads the database when you launch the app. If the app has already been opened and still in memory there is no need to launch the database meaning its just running of a cache of some sort.

Just make you always end the zappiti app on your iPad before adding the zappiti file in iTunes.

i am having a strange problem with the Zappiti Ipad App.

Ok what i did : scraped everything on my PC (version 2.47), all movies and Series worked fine.

Exported to Itunes.

Added the .dt file to the ipad AFTER i closed the Ipad app.

Disconnected the Ipad from Itunes and opened the app. I will ask this french popup, i clicked yes, then it is working for some time, after that i have an empty Zappiti. If i click somewhere eg. settings and then go back it claims that there is not .dt file present and i should import one from itunes. When i check the app in itunes i see that the .dt files has been extracted to a Folder Zappitidata which contains all the images and stuff.

How do i get this app working? Anyone nows a fix?

dont disconect from itunes before you activate the zappiti app,when you add the new dt file activate the app when you get the french question press yes and wait when zapp opens all should be well,dont forget the ip address in settings.
