Roger that but a 5.1 source should be received by AV as a 5.1 source. The AV will do the job if speakers aren't 5.1. That's why the AV is there. And the Dune doesn't do that.

Same with video btw. It should let the AV upscale if the user want his AV to do so. Somehow this is consistent

Hi,
when I play a Flac with 2.0 or 5.1 my Onkyo 905 displays (or displayed) the correct number of channel as it should be. So I still do not see you problem.

I am not sure with the most recent betas but it already worked.

So I check with firmware from june 8th.

flac 44/16 2.0 is transmitted as 44/16 2.0 and
flac 96/24 5.1 is transmitted as 96/24 7.1 (not 100% correct but multichannel)

done without changing the settings on my Dune Prime 3. So it´s automatic!!!!!!

I HATE all these new apps like FB, Twitter, games... on my main screen. I have no use for them, they clutter everything up and make using the Dune more complicated for my family. This really sucks

I already have an icon for a hard disc that I don't want to access that cannot be removed from the main screen (it holds yaDIS and that's it). Come on Dune seriously let us remove icons from the main screen!!!

What makes it worse is that I run a custom template and these new icons are ugly and really clash with my template.

So freaking annoying and really should be easy for Dune to add the ability to remove icons!!!

It's just a beta - I'm hoping in the next couple of releases we will be able to remove the icons.

Well we can dream can't we. Really, there is no difference between a beta and a release FW. I just hope that the next FW release finally has a way to remove unwanted icons.

Strange. It may depends on my files then?
Are there some standard FLAC files we could both use so we rule out that possibility ?
I'll try to reset Dune settings. It might help, who knows?
