Default DP-558 not listed in Divx Certified Hardware List
Because the DP-558 box/website says it is DivX certified I browsed to DivX.com to see what DivX Certified exactly is and which minimum requirements such a certified device must have.

On the certified hardware page the DP-558 is not listed, can somebody explain this?

I do not think they bothered to certify it , and this time I agree - waste of money . DivX certification means nothing this days.

About "DivX certified" label , well my DP-500 have "MP4" sticker on it , this does not mean it can play MP4
KiSS is not too careful with stickers they put on players and their website .
