Well... no email BUT Kiss is helping out by displaying a message on screen to update the firmware as it is available (at least on the DP-55 during startup.
Guess most of us will have a reset (of the KISS thing) frequently as the firmware is freezing frequently.

Really Hi-Jack,
I thinks this is a very good suggestion. There might still be a lot af activity.
But mainly polls - who should be running MPC etc.
All the action and excitment from the old days have gone.
KISS never supported us with more than empty words.
I therefore also suggest to make a mail list - to inform relevant owners of new updates.
If thinks continues then the list might never be used anyway.
For the future I will not look in the direction of KISS but will keep a close look at the reelbox PVR 1100. Maybe they are serius people. Who knows ?
Please give os the the mailing list !

i don't think it's necessary to have a mailing list. just come by, visit the forum once a day (or 7 times like i do) and you get all the news you need!
maybe an rss feed could be a better solution. i get all the news of my favourite sourceforge-software ( OKFW, UnSLUNG)with the rssnews-plugin for miranda (multimessenger), i really like that.
