Can anyone help?


On my DP-558, if I schedule 2 recordings, e.g. from 7pm til 8pm then 8pm til 9pm and the recordings are on different channels, I get 2 vob files. Fine.
If the 2 programs are on the same channel, I get only 1 vob file which is a real pain if you want to watch the second programme first.

Is there a way round this?

yes there is..
Schedule from 8.00 to 8.59 and from 9 topm for the next recording...
Also make sure the additional time in the setup does not overlap the recordings...

... you can also skip by entering timecode.
Press the List button @ the remote until you see search than press play button and enter the timecode. This goes much faster than using FF button.
