Default Rvert DP 558 back to Original state before RMA

Hi all,

after a lot of troubles with my DP 558 I finally decided to send it back to KISS.
(my DP 558 has troubles playing back nearly all of my DVD's - sometimes I have to eject DVD's 10 times before they play -if at all)

Currently, The device is Region free (made with a CD mentioned by Hi Jack here in the forum)

How can I revert it back to RPC2 before returning it ?

Best regards
Cyrano

I dont think they really gives a rats arse about your firmware.

But if You feel unsure about it, please do flash a retail firmware, available from www.kiss-technology.com.

Remember to do a complete update.

I think he was talking about the device beeing Region free. For that you need the original DVD-player Firmware. Is it available? I don't know.

You can flash to normal KiSS Firmware again using hijacker patch...
It will revert the drive FW back to the original speed limited version...

Use the original RPC-2 download in the same way as you flashed the drive region free....
