I especially liked the following spec (although Im not a gamer, maybe it could be used as a media streamer instead of D-Link 320, TViX, a.o.)

-Three USB 2.0 ports
-Built-in Ethernet port
-Wi-Fi ready: 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g
-Ability to stream media from portable music devices, digital cameras and Windows XP-based PCs
-Built-in Media Center Extender for Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005
-High-Definition Game Support All games supported at 16:9, 720p, and 1080i, anti-aliasing
-Standard-definition and high-definition video output supported

Just now I start dreaming of the Xbox together with Lacie external LAN/USB2 250 GB HD and a wireless LAN router (maybe Netgears USB LAN adapter??). That I think would prove a worthy media streamer with great storaga place too.

Ability to stream MPEG ISO ?? Anyone??

Comments?

Impressive... Guess the price will be impressive too

Indeed this looks like a great multimedia device.

As a matter of fact, I am not a real gamer too, and I only bought the Xbox because of the multimedia capabilities (once modded). I am already impressed by the things the Xbox can do, let alone the Xbox 360!!!

Think I'll wait for two years until it is affordable and there are plenty of mods available to make it even more interesting.

So if they manage to licence the technology from DivX Labs, then yes. I'd count on a hack being available if they don't straight out of the box.
