We hear some of you are not satisfied with the new FW and others are...
Maybe time to release Top Lists for these models as well and offer KiSS
insight info on what we would like to see fixed first and fastest...

Post your player model and your Top 5 bugfix for that player and we'll make sure KISS get's the lists as soon as we have enough data like this:

DP-1000
- MP3 Random Bug
- FF/RW improvements
- TimeSearch Bug (Jumps to 0.00 or freezes)
- dklkdjldkflkdf
- sdfjsdjfgsdkjfsd

That's what we want and need so post away...

Yesterday I upgraded my DP-450 with the new 2.92:

F/F - cause freezing (have to reboot player)
XVID movie freeze at 1.03.00, reboot, move to 1.04.00 and after couple of seconds to movie freezes again.

Upgraded back to Hybrid 2.90-2.91, that same movie runs perfect.

For now I am staying with Hybrid 2.90-2.91 and not trying to upgrade my other 2 DP-1000.

- DP-1500 Freezes between 30 sec and 2 mins during playback of xvid
- FF did not work on the files Ive tested.

All and all the 2.9.2 did not work with the files i usually play. Thus im looking for an good and recomended FW for the dp1500

Upgraded DP1500 to 2.9.2 and had a freeze about 15 minutes into a DivX: image froze, time counter kept running properly. After pressing "stop" a couple of times got back in the blue mainscreen, but it had a green line at top and bottom. Going back into the menu to play from the network, the white outline to select the menus was gone.

Rebooted, tried same file, crashed at more or less the same spot.

Downgraded to 2.9.1, tried same file, all well.

Let them change and adjust the subtitle background once and for all.
Not transparent-grey but full transparent. This involves all K|i|S|S players!!
It's the oldest "bug" there is for the players. CHANGE IT.

Movie stops at 20sec but counter running "properly". DivX5.2.1 Home Theatre profil, 2CH AC3. Runs perfect on 290-291 hibrid FW.

Since is not possible to add Shaddow under white letters it would be impossible to read subtitles on white backgrounds. I would also like outlined subs, but we are stuck with this.

DP-1000:
1) fast forward/rewind function in mp3/audio files playback;
2) improvements in the fast forward/rewind function for divx/xvid movies (to make it more like a real FF/RW rather than like a fast slide show; and to further reduce the time to resume playback after FF/RW);
3) ability to choose between different subtitles sizes;
4) improvements in the remote control precision (it sometimes still mistakes one button for another).
That's about it as far as I'm concerned.
