Default Downgrading from faulty 2.9.2 to hybrid 2.9.0/2.9.1

For reasons set aside on a separate topic ("and you call this...."), I must downgrade from 2.9.2.
Is it possible to downgrade from 2.9.2 original to the 2.9.0/2.9.1 hybrid DP450/1000 firmware?

And what about subsequently upgrading from this hybrid firmware to an original one, in the hilarioulsy unlikely case that KiSS comes up with a firmware that's worth its name?

That not a problem, you can always flash it to another firmware, only thing you have to look out for is not to go to low in fw number, since then perhaps you cd driver wont be supported anymore, there is a description of wich version for wich drives har on the forum, try using the search to find it.

So I can always roll back to a firmware that I have previously used on my player, can't I? Because I would already be sure that my DVD drive would be supported.

Yes, you can always go back to the version supplied with you kiss, one thing is that kiss have put a downgrad lock on some, but there is a firmware original from kiss where that i disabled in, for download here on the site, else hijack is also able to help you out with a file without checksum, in worst case, but that is only needet in extreem cases
