Default imdb support or movietrack support

I'm new but the following application would be great i sthere one out there or similar ?

1. I have loads of divx movies
2. I would like to access them all aswell as trailers i have for all teh movies through my kiss player.
3. for example click on picture screenshot, get synopsis i.e. from imdb and store locally, then get option to select to play movie or to play trailer, all of which are stored on hard drives ?

is this possible ? is there anything out there which comes close ?

Jimmy.

It's not possible at the moment.
First of all, the trailers won't play as most likely these are in a format KISS does not
know how to play or is not powerfull enough. The storing IMDB data local would be
possible but as movies on your hard drive change, the data will grow...

You can look for IMDB info on a movie using Tinystocks with KISS player.
If you are looking for PC Software which can store local IMDB data, there are several
available.

the best: http://www.collectorz.com/movie

Enjoy

Hi
the last question is almost possible,..
but somebody have to make some time and have good knowledge of php, to make such a KMLpage

Odbc3's commonkml have a showmovie whitch shows the content of the movie...on a kmlpage with picture

It's not finished, but maybe over a few months when odbc3 is back, it will be possible..
OR
some other good php guru's who can help me to build this...

But playing trailers from remote sites......I don't think this will be possible...(for this generation of players)

ciao

I think your wrong about that.
I just installed a pclink server (popies.net/kissd) on a remote location
I simply forward port 8000 to this server

then I run this command on the kiss:

MediaPlayer AVI PCLINK1:62.12.x.x:8000:/kissroot/bleep.avi

(ip is changed) , and I can watch "what the bleep" movie!
I was amassed it is that simple.

you need fast download from your side and most important fast upload from the remote side.
