Today, I tried to play a 700MB-mpg-movie. If I press the fastforward-button to skip the intro, my DP-558 skips more then 19min! I can repeat that several times (including a power-off).
GSpot says:
Code:
MPEG Stream ID (e.g. "0xbd"): 0xc0
MPEG VOB file Substream(e.g. "0x80"):
Audio Codec (e.g. "AC3"): MPEG-1 Layer 2
Audio Codec Status (e.g. "Codec Is Installed"): Codec(s) are Installed
Audio Sample Rate (Hz): 44100
Audio Bitrate(kbps): 128
Audio Bitrate Type ("CBR" or "VBR"): CBR
Audio Channel Count (e.g. "2" for stereo): 2
Something never seen before is:
Code:
Video Codec Type(e.g. "DIV3"): MPEG1_Payload
Video Codec Name(e.g. "DivX 3, Low-Motion"): MPEG-1
Is "MPEG1_Payload" something "special"? Could this be the reason for the huge jump on FF? Or is this just another well known firmware-bug?
