Hi Clubbers,

A new update has been added to MPC Guides.

Now added:
- 1.1.4 Release Doc for Dp-558 recorders
- SnaZio Networking Issues overview and solutions.
- File does not play Guide! (Qpel, GMC and Packed Bit Stream)
- KiSS FTP Issue 1.1.4 Fix! (Will be released tonight)

Hi-Jack, why don't you mention the drop in FTP speed introduced by firmware 1.1.4?

Because it's not an issue.
Disable FTP, reboot, enable FTP, reboot, Fixed.
A seperate guide is made for that already but i need to add som pictures
Will do so tonight and then release it

Even if you do that there is a general drop in transfer speed of around 15% (from 1.5 MB/s to 1.3 MB/s). That is an issue.

Anyway it's just a suggestion...

the speed can be caused by local hardware as well. Average speed of 1.3 to
1.9 is measured many times, even before 1.1.4. We are running additional
tests on 5 DP-558 players to see if all drop speed, some drop speed and
how much on the same network. We processed 2 last night and both, after
the procedure, have the same speed as before...
