Default Linksys Game Adapter WGA54G: can't make it work?

Hello folks

I've bought the Linksys WGA54G in order to make my DP-500 wireless, but cannot make it work. Anyone in here got it to work successfully with a Kiss machine?

I try to set it up with the Linksys Setup software first. I plug it in to my router (Netgear WGR614v2) with a straight ethernet cable, but most of the time I get the message that the Linksys Adapter cannot be found, and that I should check my connections. Power light blinks and the ethernet light is fully lit, though, on the Game Adapter.

How should I configure my router to make it work wirelessly, if I succeed in configuring it through my router? I have wireless access control in my router with specified MAC adresses and WEP. But I don't know the MAC address on the wireless part of the Game Adapter. The ethernet MAC address (Ethernet port on Game Adapter) is written on the back, but not the wireless MAC address.

If anyone with this device working properly could give me a hint, it would be greatly appreciated.

Have a nice weekend

Don't configure it on your router. Do it on PC!!
After that, you put bag ethernet on your PC and hook the game adapter on the kiss.

Thanks
Trying to do it on the ethernet port on my pc now does not help, unfortunately. I've changed the macadresse of my network card from automatic IP to 192.168.1.249 (which I've read somewhere on google to do), but I can only get to the password screen. When I type the IP of the Game Adapter 102.168.1.250 in my browser and type the default password, nothing more happens.

I've noticed that the power LED changes from flashing green to vague red after about 5 seconds after starting/restarting the Game Adapter. The Ethernet LED is constantly green. The Wireless LED is off.
