Default Formating harddrive after ftp problems

Hi!

I have a brand new Kiss 558. For some reason I can't create a directory name d "video" though FTP. (It works for "audio" and "pictures")

My guess is that someting when wrong when I tried to copy a file to the harddisk through pc-link.

So do I need to reformat my hard drive and does thar erase all my configuration such as EPG etc?

All help appreciated.

/Fredrik

Why do you like to make such a directory manually?

'Cause it didn't get created automatically.

I tried to copy files through PC-Link but the player just froze. So I had to reboot it.

So is everything (channels, EPG, etc.) affected if I reformat my hard drive?

No, every setting you have made is preserved when you formatthe harddisk. "Only" your video and audio files that is on your horddisk is erased.
