As far as I know from all Sigma based only Zensonic can , not sure about other chipsets but I think MTK can't FF/REW audio either.

I would realy like to see FF/REW and/or SEARCH in mp3 files. Lately I have downloaded so called podcasts from my favourite radio station. These are mp3-files which it may take, let's say, 30 or 60 minutes to play back. I stream them to the DP-1500, but as it now is: If I turn the playback off, I have to start from the beginning of the file.

I totally agree MP3 FF/RW is missing from kISS players (and others for that
matter). Whatever reason they had before not to add it (fighting too many
bugs already), the latest reason is probably all units will no lomger be
updated unless maybe DP-1100 and DP-558/VR-558.

On my last 2 questions for updates on the older players, we did not get
sufficient answers to rule it out, so it's almost certain that all players below
Dp-1504/Dp-508, are deffinately discontinued for FW support. (Still being
sold though)

This is my opinion, not confirmed!!

really stupid. you can FF divx files with mp3 sound in it up to 32x, but you can not FF mp3-s solo. very nice.
