my kiss DVD (2.9.3 region free updated) won't read double layer +dvd's copied 1to1 directly from original dvds. strange cause i have no other issues wiht any regular title (RCE etc.) so far. In my region free patched pioneer 636 plays wonderfully!!!

on top of this all of the widescreen movies come with a horizontal line less dark on top of the dvd's dark horizontal line while palying the core movie!! again my pioneer 636 doesn't have this line when playing the same movie??? any clue anyoone. i tried 16:9, 4:3 p&S, lettterbox...everything doesn't go away!!
