Hi All,
I was wondering if it is possible to add webradio stations to be used on the KiSS using webinterface (kml)
There's so many channels out there and so many coutries...
French people would like to have French Radio... etc...
What can one do?
Ideas and solution are wellcome !!

of course it's possible to create a new webradio directory... if the current webradio can do it then it should be able to be recreated...
but what is the motivation in doing it? sorting the current stations in a better organized way? or really adding new stations to the list... when you start your own webradio and it's listed with Shoutcast it should appear in the list automatically shouldnt it?
a nice list with radio stations should be a good idea, but than you should just use a real web-interface to let users add stations to category's... i.e. sorting by language etc... and maybe it could have some nice statistical things like rating of the stations... that you see how many Kiss users listened to that station, and how high they rate that station...

The problem with webradio is it uses a closed database of constantly updated stations (shoutcast). No one but shoutcast, and people who pay for it (KiSS) can actually get at the data in any useful way.
You can add webradio URLs on my webpage, which you can get from shoutcast.com, or other webradios that are compatable (or while you are in my version of webradio and pres >>| on a station page). These are then accessed by the shortcut buttons on the main page. I use them to listen to webradio without turning on my TV (you press 1-6 to change stations, and play to hear the last webradio you selected on the webradio pages)
But having a nice, upto date list means having db access, which shoutcast don't really want to give away (and why should they, its costing them lots of money to run the service!)

If you use my version of webradio, you can press >> to see your 10 last played webradio stations, your 10 most played webradio stations, the last 10 webradio stations KiSS users have played, and the top 10 webradios of all time from KiSS users

The motivation would be to offer people in several countries to listen to their favorite radio station which is possibly not listed on KiSS Webradio...
I get frequent questions about that so if someone would create a way to store "1" radiostation in some kind of personal favorite, it would be great...
So it's possible...
Who's gonna add this feature to his KML page

I don't understand? What do you mean?
For months on my site you have been able to specify up to 6 favourite webradios, either thru the KML interface, or a web interface. You can also view your recently played stations, and most played stations. Is that what you mean?
My modified webradio is pretty cool
