Default DP1500 and wireless bridge

Hi,

If I use a wireless birdge for my dp1500, does that also mean that the speed will be higher compared to a 11mb wireless pcmia card?

Regards,

Patrick

No, regardless if you use Wireless, Lan Cable or Bridge, the MAX speed the
kiss can get is about 1.2 tot 1.5 mbps. It's a limit in design and capabilities
of the player itself.

Having used both I would say go with the wireless bridge. The speeds with the wireless card can be painful and even although the technical data may suggest that one is as fast as the other, I wouldn't necessarily agree when you have tried it in practice.

The other benefit of having a wireless bridge is that it will boost the wireless signal in your home. I have a solid double brick house which can be a nighmare. Once I put in the wireless bridge downstairs I now get an excellent connection no matter where I am. You can also connect other devices to your wireless bridge i.e. xbox live (should you want to)

Hope this helps
