Hi guys,

I had great support from you in installing DP500Server on my DS106 and got all the medial files to play from Kiss DP600.

However, when i tried to add more files to the /music directory the DS server just goes offline or something else happens that cause the MS Exploere to crash half way through the copying files. The message i get: the folder is not longer avaiable.

I made sure that i am logged on to the /music folder with correct admin user name and password.

I have a feeling this might be due to tyou PC loosing the connection. At the
time the folder is lost, can you still ping the unit? Can you reconnect immediately?

What happens if you map the Music folder to a drive letter?

I pinged the box and got response betweek 19and 43ms. I am not sure if the computer is losing connection, bacuse i even tried remote connection to the PC and tried copying the files.

Explorer just hangs up after copying coule of music folders and then i end up having to renoot the machine before i can get accesss to explorer again.

To give you an idea, my PC is about 3 weeks old, Pentium dual core processor with 2GB memory and 108Mb wireless connection.

Has anyone experienced connection problems after installing DP500Server, or is there any upgrade to the server firmware that might include fixes?
